4️⃣Bulk Creating your own contents with the Bulk Create Feature

Prepare Your Spreadsheet

Create an Excel (.xlsx) file. The first row should contain headers (e.g., ID, Name, Price). Subsequent rows should contain the data for each label.

Design a Template Frame

1. In Figma, create a Frame that represents one label or card.

2. Add a Frame where the Barcode/QR code should go.

3. Add Text Layers for other data (e.g., "Product Name").

4. Tip: Name your layers clearly (e.g., #barcode-slot, #text-name) for easier mapping.

Import and Map Data

1. Open BarQR Generator and switch to the Bulk tab.

2. Click "Open Excel" and select your file.

3. Select your Template Frame（Parent Frame） on the Figma canvas.

4. In the plugin, map each layer to a column from your Excel file:

   • For Barcode/QR: Select the Barcode/QR Frame and choose the column containing the code data (e.g., SKU, SHIPPING ID, PRODUCT URL). Select the code type (e.g., QR Pro or EAN-13).

   • For Text: Select the text layer and choose the corresponding text column (e.g., Product Name). You can drag and drop the Connection Curve to build the Data Mapping Connection between the excel data column and the Barcode/QR Frame and the Text Layers in the left Preview canvas.

BULK CREATE OPERATION

1. Follow the instructions in 5 steps in the Bulk Create tab to configure the parameters and map the data columns to the Barcode/QR Frame and the Text Layers.

2. Each step is self-explanatory. On step 02-03, you can manipulate the data mapping connection in the left Preview canvas.

3. On step 04, choose layout settings (Grid or Sheet mode).

4. On step 05, check the status of the previous four steps.

5. Click "Bulk Create" and navigate to the BULK CREATE OPERATION RISK WARNING CTA to view the risk warning message.

6. Confirm the operation by clicking "I fully understand the circumstances, and Proceed with the OPERATION".

7. The plugin will clone your template for each row in the Excel file, filling in the data and generating the correct design in Figma.
